I created this holder to mount a roll of "cake collar". Its a 6 inch wide roll of acetate used to girdle fresh cakes to protect them. It is designed to be cut out of 1/4 inch thick (5 mm) masonite (HDF).
It does press fit but I recommend that you glue it together.
